Without a doubt the most rare Old Crow we have had our hands on. Found in the dusty basement of an old iquor store in Spain, this is an imperial quart size BIB 100 proof bottling. The small letters on the front label read 55, indicating that this has been bottled around 1955.
Old Crow these days is a low-priced brand of bourbon produced by Beam-Suntory. Before the early 90’s however, Old Crow was produced by the famous National Distillers corporation along with Brands such as Bourbon de Luxe and Old Grand Dad, both loved and praised for their sweetly balanced almost caramel like flavour profile.
