Distilled just after world war 2 and bottled in 1975 by Ferraretto in Italy. From the colour quite obviously sherry matured. The cap is partly torn on this bottle as pictured. This was done by accident by ourselves when taking stock photo’s. We guarantee the bottle is sealed and 100% authentic. it is still about half way attached. We will parafilm this bottle to ensure it will tear no further in transit.
High proof whisky is highly flammable. A fact that Glenrothes distillery has been reminded of on several occasions since their opening in 1879. Fires and explosions on 4 different occasions between 1879 and 1962 contribute to its turbulent history.
