This is a late 60s to 70’s blended version of Cream of Kentucky. Bottled at 80 proof and exported for the Italian market.
Cream of Kentucky was originally produced by Schenley and distilled at the James E Pepper distillery. A historic site formerly known as the Henry Clay distillery which was resurrected following the repeal of prohibition by Schenley. It was renamed James E. Pepper after the famous 19th century master distiller.
